What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking an experienced UKG Pro expert to lead the reconfiguration, optimization, and implementation of key modules across our UKG Pro HCM Suite. This high-impact role will support our fast-growing, multi-site organization in transforming our HRIS into a scalable, user-friendly, and insight-driven platform that meets the needs of a distributed workforce.

Working closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Operations, and IT, the Consultant will assess the current configuration, implement enhancements, and ensure the system supports compliance, efficiency, and future growth. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3–4 days per week onsite for hands-on collaboration and implementation.

• Conduct discovery and gap analysis to assess current configuration and usage
• Reconfigure UKG Pro modules to support ease of use, automation, and accessibility
• Implement or optimize modules including, but not limited to, Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Performance Management, Document Management, and Compensation Modeling
• Optimize dashboards and reporting tools for operational and strategic insights
• Streamline workflows and approval processes for better efficiency and compliance
• Ensure seamless integrations with scheduling tools, POS systems, and other third-party platforms
• Enhance the mobile user experience by optimizing the UKG Pro Mobile App for field employees
• Leverage UKG’s AI and analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making
• Partner with HRIS Admin to develop and document clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future internal use
• Deliver hands-on training and knowledge transfer to ensure continuity and internal system ownership

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Proven expertise in configuring and optimizing UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro)
• Demonstrated experience with Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Payroll, and Performance modules
• Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance requirements, and workforce analytics
• Experience supporting mobile-first and distributed workforces
• Hands-on experience developing SOPs and training documentation for HRIS/HCM systems
• Familiarity with UKG AI capabilities and third-party integrations, a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close, in-person collaboration with cross-functional teams
