Overview

Join a frontrunner in the proteomics services industry as a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate, where you will deliver cutting-edge proteomics solutions and drive scientific innovation. This pivotal role focuses on executing comprehensive proteomics experiments, from meticulous sample preparation to advanced mass spectrometry (MS) analysis, culminating in the creation of insightful scientific reports for our esteemed clientele. Here, precision is paramount, with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate and execute high-quality experiments in alignment with SOPs, encompassing:
• Precision sample extraction
• Advanced MS sample preparation
• Rigorous sample purification and fractionation
• Mastery of LC-MS/MS operations
• Craft comprehensive customer reports utilizing proprietary bioinformatics platforms
• Manage and maintain lab consumables inventory effectively
• Conduct routine and thorough instrument maintenance, including Mass Spec and HPLC calibration
• Collaborate on pioneering method development for sample prep, chromatography, and MS excellence
• Deliver compelling scientific presentations as required
• Ensure proactive and transparent communication of project progress with management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in handling proteomics samples is preferred
• Exceptional documentation skills with an eye for detail
• Proficient with diverse sample types: purified proteins, cell lysates, tissues, fluids
• A collaborator adept at following SOPs and contributing to team success
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, and a thorough understanding of mass spectrometry—preferably Orbitrap
