Job Description

Overview

As a Retirement Plan Coordinator at Mammini Company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retirement plan services. You will help maintain relationships with existing clients, organize client meetings, manage scheduling for our participant education program, assist with onboarding new clients, and support our business development initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact, assisting the advisor for our corporate retirement plan clients, ensuring smooth communication and excellent service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Client Service & Relationship Management

Coordinating client meetings and communications to provide high-touch service, supporting plan sponsors and participants, cultivating strong relationships, and overseeing administrative documentation for corporate retirement plans.

Practice management

Document and report client activity to the firm's advisor and collaborate with team members to enhance the client service model.

 

Employer & Plan Sponsor Education

Coordinate enrollment meetings and quarterly webinars for participants and plan sponsors, collaborate on creating financial wellness presentations to enhance participant engagement, and utilize reporting and technology resources to improve overall plan health.

Investment Research & Management

Support the preparation of quarterly investment reports for plan sponsors, collaborate with advisors using Fi360 and Morningstar for research on current or proposed investment options, and actively engage in investment manager due diligence meetings and reviews.

Business Development Support & New Client Onboarding

Collaborate with advisors to evaluate vendor proposals, prepare tailored prospecting materials, and participate in the client onboarding process to meet expectations and manage timelines effectively.

Education and/or Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably while servicing corporate retirement plans.
  • FINRA Series 7 preferred or willing to achieve within 1 year.
  • Ability to use and willingness to learn all required computer programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite and various financial industry software, including Morningstar, Fi360, Canva, and Advisor 360.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including producing custom client-ready spreadsheets and presentation materials from the ground up.

This role's applicable base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000. Experience, skills, training, certifications, and education will determine the base pay offered. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
