Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restaurant Manager at Lulu Kitchen & Bar, located in Sag Harbor, NY.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced person to join our team in a dynamic upscale casual restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong background in team management and food service operations. This role is crucial in supporting the management team to ensure smooth daily operations, enhance guest experiences, and lead our staff to success. The Restaurant Manager will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensure customer satisfaction, manage and train staff, and maintain high standards of food and beverage service. Responsibilities include handling customer service issues, scheduling, hiring and training employees, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is highly desirable but not required.
  • Knowledge of food management practices, including food safety standards and kitchen operations.
  • Experience in casual dining settings is preferred, along with an understanding of bar operations and wine & spirits knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation

$95,000.00 per year
