Rental Equipment Service Technician / Field Service (As Needed)

At Stockyard LLC, we rely on our Service Technicians to keep our equipment—and our customers—moving forward. As a Rental Equipment Service Tech / Field Service Technician, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe, professional, and customer-focused way.

This role gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself daily and, with ambition and drive, grow into higher-level technician and leadership positions within our Service Department.

What You’ll Do

• Safely perform maintenance and repair of a variety of rental equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle
• Support and train entry-level technicians as needed
• Accurately complete daily paperwork/electronic work orders in a timely manner
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment/tool repair and maintenance
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
• Strong background with various engines
• Must own tools relevant to the position
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under Stockyard LLC policies and procedures.
