Job Description

Equity Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary position. Our client is changing the future of healthcare and they have the expertise, advanced technology, and global resources to make it happen.

This individual will be administering chemotherapy and infusion therapy to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, patient assessment, and emergency management.

Top Responsibilities:

• Administer medications via various routes, including intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous
• Accurately document patient information, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment responses, in the EMR system
• Respond to and manage emergency situations, such as anaphylaxis or other infusion reactions
• Provide patient education on treatment regimens, potential side effects, and self-care strategies
• Monitor patients' conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN, with a focus on chemotherapy administration and infusion therapy
• Chemo/Bio Provider card certification
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy administration, infusion therapy, and patient care
