The Regional Banking Center Manager is responsible for supporting and driving branch operations best practices across all locations. Lead operational excellence through Branch Managers. Execute operational strategies in accordance with the plan developed by senior management. Provide leadership and management to ensure that the Bank branches are operating in a manner to support organizational growth, operating efficiency and customer service excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Attend regional meetings to ensure awareness of organizational priorities, advises peers on trends within assigned region or business area, and collaborates with peers to support strategic goals.
  2. Provide expertise in development and documentation of functional processes and procedures.
  3. Serve as escalation point for customer issues and concerns.
  4. Review audit results and performance reports; conduct root cause analysis for areas requiring improvement and develop and implement solutions.
  5. Merger, acquisition and conversion support activities.
  6. Establish vault limits and manage cash services.
  7. Properly allocate resources necessary to support the local branches.
  8. Understand branch P&Ls and drive to operate efficiently.
  9. Work with the Training Department to coordinate the onboarding of new hires.
  10. Partner with Human Resources Dept. for recruiting, hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and salary approvals.
  11. Orient employees to Bank policies and procedures, clearly communicating work duties and responsibilities.
  12. Evaluate staff’s work performance and provide feedback through consistent and ongoing coaching and communication; conduct effective performance appraisals and take corrective action whenever necessary.
  13. Business Continuity Planning and vendor management for respective region or function
  14. Actively participate in local community efforts.
  15. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The position is responsible for the supervision of all office employees and is expected to provide leadership, training and support to staff members.

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related major preferred and/or management experience preferably in financial services.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, and 5 years in retail banking environment.
