About the Role

As the Procurement Specialist , you’ll play a critical role in managing corporate category strategies while aligning sourcing initiatives with key business objectives. You’ll partner closely with internal business units and external vendors to drive long-term value through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations. This is a high-impact position offering the chance to influence enterprise-wide procurement decisions and mentor rising talent in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
• Identify areas of risk and lead cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation plans.
• Deliver cost-saving projects and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Provide market research, spend analytics, and cost modeling to support sourcing strategies.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Monitor industry trends, benchmark best practices, and incorporate them into sourcing decisions.
• Create should-cost models and drive supplier negotiations using deep industry insights.
• Mentor and train Procurement Specialists; lead educational sessions to support team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-3 years in supply chain procurement or sourcing.
• Expertise in contract management, market analysis, and strategic negotiations.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement tools and processes including RFI, RFQ, RFP, SAP.
• Experience integrating SAP data with COUPA preferred
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience within a procurement function preferred

Work Requirements

• Essential worker status: must be available to work any shift within a 24-hour period.
• Availability for 7-day work weeks as needed (Monday – Sunday) to meet operational demands.
