Job Description

We’re seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern with a background or strong interest in writing, public relations, or strategic communications to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting corporate messaging, media outreach, and investor communications for innovative companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and editing a range of written content, including press releases, executive bios, blog posts, media materials, and social media copy.
• Help maintain and update client messaging platforms and marketing collateral.
• Participate in internal brainstorms, editorial planning, and client project meetings.
• Conduct competitive research and summarize industry trends to support client positioning.
• Assist with the preparation of briefing books, media lists, and event support documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure message alignment across all communications.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with AP style is a plus.
• Interest in healthcare, biotech, or finance is a bonus, but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and research tools (Google, Meltwater, Cision, etc.) is helpful.
