Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary:

Metric Bio is partnering with a leading clinical research site in Indianapolis, IN, to identify a dedicated Principal Investigator (PI) to assist with ongoing clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. In this supportive role, the PI will help ensure patient safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance throughout the course of the studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with medical oversight for active clinical trials conducted at the site.
• Support patient eligibility assessments and the informed consent process.
• Help monitor participant safety, including review and documentation of adverse events.
• Collaborate with the lead investigator, research staff, and sponsor representatives to ensure proper study execution.
• Contribute to the review of study-related documentation, such as source data and case report forms.
• Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and site SOPs.
• Participate in investigator meetings and contribute to staff support and training as needed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Indiana.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty preferred.
• Previous experience in clinical trials, particularly as a Sub-Investigator or assisting PI, is highly desirable.
• Broad clinical knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Availability for consistent on-site involvement.
