LHH is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for our client in Raleigh, NC. This person must have experience doing commercial title searches themselves as the firm does not use a service for title searches. Check out the details below:
JOB TITLE: Paralegal – Commercial Real Estate
Type: Full Time - Onsite
Duties include but are not limited to:
•Performing title searches and reviewing title commitments, policies, and related documents.
•Ordering and analysis of surveys.
•Drafting easements, deeds, and other real estate related documents.
•Preparing and organizing documents for closings.
•Assist with Zoning and Land Use Submittals.
•Coordinating with title insurance companies and facilitating title commitments and policies.
•Reviewing and plotting legal descriptions to verify property boundaries.
•Coordinating post-closing activities.
•Communicating with and responding to clients both orally and through written communications.
Qualifications:
•3+ years of recent experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate transactions preferred.
•Experience in Word, Excel, and DocuSign required.
•Familiarity with CourtLogic or other real estate software.
•Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of assignments and work product.
Education:
• Bachelor degree minimum or equivalent related work experience.
• ABA approved Paralegal course of study or North Carolina State Paralegal Certification.
