Harley-Davidson/Yamaha Sales Manager

About Us:

Silver Eagle Harley Davidson/Yamaha is the leading motorcycle dealership in the area, located in Waterloo, IA, known for its commitment to true customer service, monthly events

and a wide selection of new and pre-owned motorcycles.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager, to lead our sales team in a fun family environment, and drive sales growth. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase overall sales.
• Manage and maintain inventory, ensuring optimal display and availability.
• Assist sales staff with presentations, closing deals, and handling customer inquiries.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to the sales team.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in motorcycle/car sales.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
• Strong sales skills, including closing deals and building relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license. 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with sales management software and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with motorcycle finance and insurance.
• Knowledge of motorcycle brands and models.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
