We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist/MA Scribe to join our cardiology facility in Cedarhurst, NY. The ideal candidate will work closely with healthcare providers to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary information is captured in real-time. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of clinical operations and improving patient care.
Responsibilities:
Accurately document patient histories, examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits.
Assist healthcare providers in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Verify insurance information and assist with insurance verification processes.
Utilize to enhance documentation quality.
Collaborate with all other staffs to ensure seamless patient flow and office management.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Support the healthcare team by managing administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a front desk and medical assistant/scribe role or medical administrative support is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification processes
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
