Position: Material Handler

Location: Onsite in Franklin

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Standard Business Hours 8am-5pm M-F

Must Have: Previous Experience as a Material Handler

Excel Experience/Ability to take perform Inventory Activities

Education: High School Diploma

Ability to lift up to 90 pounds

Job Description:

Stages materials for use by Warehouse functions including crating of palletized goods. General housekeeping duties such as sweeping, trash and cardboard removal to dumpsters. Operates warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling ladders to perform assigned duties. Daily computer activity may include internal and external email communication.

• Breaks down palletized deliveries for storage and/or delivery to EMF employees – verifies contents based on packing list(s).
• Assists in preparation of freight shipments.
• Organize warehouse shelves for optimal use of storage capacity and prevention of damage to stored equipment / goods. Keeps warehouse areas and grounds clean and free from debris, etc.
• Support and contribute to ministry endeavors by following employment policies and practices and supporting a safe and healthy work environment. Specifically, follow EMF’s Injury Prevention and Safety program, support and maintain safety standards, and participate in safety training
