Position: Electrician

Contract: 6 months contract ( extension and perm possibility )

Shift: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Mon-Fri) ; 40hrs/ weekly

Job Description:

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems and components. You will ensure that all wiring and equipment comply with safety standards while troubleshooting any malfunctions to maintain operational efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute plans for electrical wiring in lighting, intercoms, and other electrical systems.
• Install and maintain electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment, including alarm systems.
• Set up safety and distribution components such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
• Prepare and assemble conduits, running and connecting wiring through them.
• Perform routine inspections, replacing old wiring, insulated cables, and cleaning circuits to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.
• Adhere to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an electrician or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
• Certifications: Relevant electrical certifications or licenses as per industry standards.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in wiring and installation to prevent safety hazards.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment if required.
