Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seed Quality Lab Technician to work with our client, a global leader in agricultural research. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and movement of physical samples, as well as performing designated physical seed quality analyses.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - midnight This is a fully onsite position in Ankeny, Iowa. Local candidates preferred as relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare buffers and reagents accurately.
• Maintain indicator plants and conduct grow-out assays.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Assist with various seed health tests.
• Adhere to and maintain ISO Quality Management Standards.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and observe all safety precautions while working in the lab.

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in lab testing or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
