Job Description

Valentine Environmental Engineers, LLC is looking for a full-time Water/Wastewater Junior Project Engineer, with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, based in our Phoenix office.

This position entails engineering design and construction administration services related to potable water, reclaimed water, and wastewater infrastructure/ treatment plants. Projects will have a focus on treatment process optimization, pumping and transmission systems, utility infrastructure, treatment plant hydraulics, permitting compliance, and funding assistance.

This is a full time, in office position.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Interest in water and wastewater systems design and construction, and permitting
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
• Masters of Science in a related field a plus (not required)
• Must have EIT (Engineer in Training) license
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to learn construction technology software i.e. Procore, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with safety rules, regulations, best practices and QA/QC performance standards
• Prior Water & Wastewater knowledge or work experience preferred

Registration:

• Registered as an Engineer in Training in the State of Arizona or California

Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work closely with team members and collaborate with clients
• Self-starter, ability to work independently when needed
