Location: Plano, TX (100% On-Site)
Contract: 6–12 months (possible extension)

Overview We are looking for an experienced
Java Cloud Developer to support enterprise-scale, cloud-based applications for an on-site contract role in
Plano, TX . The ideal candidate has strong Java fundamentals, hands-on cloud experience, and experience building scalable microservices in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based cloud applications
- Build and support microservices using Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
- Design and consume RESTful APIs
- Deploy and support applications in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Work closely with DevOps, QA, and business teams on-site
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support
- Follow best practices for security, performance, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot , Spring MVC, Spring Cloud
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- REST APIs, JSON, web services
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on-site
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Azure equivalents)
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Agile / Scrum experience
- Enterprise or government project experience
