Who is the Texas Bankers Association?

The Texas Bankers Association (TBA) is the largest and oldest state banking organization in the country. Founded in 1885, TBA has grown and evolved over the years in fulfilling its mission to provide world class advocacy, education and products and services to approximately 400 member banks across Texas. A not-for-profit, 501(c)(6) entity, TBA has also serves as the umbrella to three for-profit subsidiaries and a non-profit foundation – all totaling nearly 100 employees across the enterprise. What our team Needs:

As we grow and expand our initiatives, we’re looking for a proactive and highly organized The Texas Bankers Association (TBA) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support a range of digital and cross-functional projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has experience managing timelines, tasks, and communication for web applications, websites, CRM implementations, and other technology-driven initiatives.

Key Components of the Position:

  • Coordinate and track the progress of digital projects, including websites, web apps, CRM updates, and platform integrations.
  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, task assignments, and vendor communications.
  • Ensure deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are met through proactive follow-ups and updates.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and clarify project scope.
  • Manage and update project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Utilize established tools and systems that improve visibility and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • Project coordinator or project management experience.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms such as:
  • CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
  • Web apps (e.g., member portals, dashboards)
  • CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working both independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools like Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook, Teams, Excel), and project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, etc.)
