We’re hiring a Safety & Sustainability Specialist in Louisville, KY!

We’re looking for a Safety & Sustainability Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs at our production site in Louisville, KY (on-site) .

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Safety, or Environmental roles in manufacturing, food, or beverage operations .
• Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations , and experience with ISO management systems.
• Experience in incident investigation, risk analysis, and root cause methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, Taproot) .
• Excellent communication and training skills; ability to influence across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or similar).

Main responsibilities

• Support and improve EHS programs in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 45001 / 14001 standards .
• Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities such as PHAs, MOC reviews, and audits.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations with corrective actions and follow-up.
• Coordinate and deliver safety and environmental training for plant employees and contractors.
• Manage waste, air, and water compliance reporting and documentation.
• Track EHS KPIs, analyze trends , and propose proactive improvement actions.
• Promote a culture of safety engagement and sustainability at every level of the organization.
