We’re hiring a Safety & Sustainability Specialist in Louisville, KY!

We’re looking for a Safety & Sustainability Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs at our production site in Louisville, KY (on-site) .

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Safety, or Environmental roles in manufacturing, food, or beverage operations .
Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations , and experience with ISO management systems.
Experience in incident investigation, risk analysis, and root cause methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, Taproot) .
Excellent communication and training skills; ability to influence across teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or similar).

Main responsibilities

Support and improve EHS programs in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 45001 / 14001 standards .
Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities such as PHAs, MOC reviews, and audits.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations with corrective actions and follow-up.
Coordinate and deliver safety and environmental training for plant employees and contractors.
Manage waste, air, and water compliance reporting and documentation.
Track EHS KPIs, analyze trends , and propose proactive improvement actions.
Promote a culture of safety engagement and sustainability at every level of the organization.
