Emissions Test Scheduler

📍 Chelsea, MI | 💼 Contract | On-Site | 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM)

💰 $30 – $32 per hour | 🕒 Full-Time

Are you looking to accelerate your career in the automotive testing field? We’re hiring an Emissions Test Scheduler to join our team in Chelsea, Michigan! This is a critical role supporting chassis dynamometer emissions and energy consumption testing essential for vehicle development and certification compliance.

As an Emissions Test Scheduler , you'll lead a team responsible for executing 30–50 tests per shift, including vehicle tailpipe emissions, evaporative emissions, fuel economy, OBD functionality, and electrical system efficiency testing. You'll manage 150+ vehicles, supervise twelve driver mechanics, oversee nine dynamometer test cells, and ensure testing is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Emissions Test Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule second shift chassis dyno testing
• Oversee 2 evaporative SHEDs and ensure proper test execution
• Supervise all refueling and charging operations
• Liaise with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality results
• Ensure safe, accurate execution of emissions testing

Emissions Test Scheduler Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in a technical field required
• 3+ years of experience managing or supervising vehicle emissions or powertrain systems testing
• Proven team leadership and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
