🕗  Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (On-Site)

Are you a seasoned educational leader ready to make a difference in a vibrant, student-centered environment? Creative STEAM Academy , is a 501c3 non-profit homeschool learning center serving TK–8th grade students, is seeking a passionate and experienced  Principal or Vice Principal to serve as our  Educational Director.

🧠 What You’ll Do:

As our Educational Director, you’ll:

• Provide vision and daily oversight for a team of dedicated teachers and support staff
• Mentor and guide educators to maintain high-quality, whole-child instruction
• Collaborate with families to support student growth and achievement
• Foster a positive, inclusive school culture built on respect, consistency, and community
• Help shape a growing program—your input will influence systems, curriculum, and culture
• Lead with integrity, compassion, and experience

✅ Ideal Candidate:

• Former  Principal or Vice Principal with experience leading a team of educators
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s and administrative credential preferred
• 3–5+ years in educational leadership (homeschool/charter experience a plus)
• Strong instructional knowledge and classroom background
• Skilled communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
• Excited about joining a  startup-style , family-focused, flexible learning environment
• Retired?We welcome seasoned leaders who still want to contribute without a full-time workload

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid California Administrative Credential or equivalent experience in educational leadership
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a school or learning center setting
• Experience working with multiple grade levels (K–12 strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of California education standards and student support services
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative, compassionate, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Previous Principal or Vice Principal Experience
• Teaching experience
• Teaching credential

Compensation & Schedule:

• Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday 8am-3pm)
• Competitive salary based on experience $45-$50K / year
