What your day-to-day will look like:
Experience mapping in IBM Sterling B2Bi, IBM Sterling File Gateway , Lightwell Framework
Experience with creating maps for different formats - EDI to XML, XML to EDI, IDOC to X12, X12 to IDOC, IDOC to EDIFACT, EDIFACT to IDOC, DB to X12, X12 to DB, FLAT File to Flat File, FLAT File to X12, FLAT File to IDOC, Flat file to DB.
Working experience with EDI documents like 204, 990, 214, 210, 810, 820, 824, 850, 852, 855, 856, 860, 940, 945, 304, 315 etc.
Experience with developing new business process, creating on-fault conditions and setup email notifications.
Configure adapters like JDBC, FSA, SFTP, FTP, CLA, SAP in Sterling Integrator business process.
Configure Sterling file gateway for different protocols like FTP, SFTP, REST, AS2
This position will be client facing, so a candidate with good communication skills.
Ability to perform the business analysis working with the client for requirements gathering
Ability to write the EDI specification documents (from/to SAP IDOC)
Responsible for the development & unit testing of EDI maps.
Maintaining/updating of mapping configuration items, deliverables.
Setup, onboard and testing of the trading partners into production.
Ongoing EDI production support activities, troubleshooting mapping related issues etc.
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
5 years of technical experience in EDI map design & development, communication setup, BP design & development in IB Sterling B2Bi, IBM Sterling File Gateway, Lightwell Framework
Client-facing customer service experience
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
It'd be great if you also have:
Experience in preparing Logical maps
Experience in few other common EDI tool like Altova Mapforce
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
Knowledge in API web service integration, development, and strategy with SOAP and REST API's
Ability to analyze and interpret various integration formats and documents including, but not limited to: Swagger, CSV, JSON, XML, Plain Text, X12, WSDL.
Experience working on cross-functional teams.
2 or more years in EDI and/or TMS application support experience
Knowledge of Scrum/Agile or Kanban methodologies
