Requirement Details:

Job Title: Designer

Location: El Segundo, CA

Duration: 3+ months initial contract, potential for extension

Rate Range: $38-42/hr on W2

Description

• Design within brands, themes, categories, and age ranges.
• Deliver projects on time.
• Work with Lead Designers and Global Creative Director to understand and fulfill creative briefs and tackle creative tasks.
• With direction, able to create one sheets, inspiration decks, graphics, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Participate in the development phase of the style guide production.
• Track current and emerging visual and consumer trends and able to curate for client’s portfolio of brands and product categories.
• Actively participate in team brainstorm sessions (as well as cross-functional sessions) for new asset ideas, product development and innovation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably for apparel and other consumer products.
• Skilled in Graphic Design, especially vector-based design.
• Excellent in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
• Must be very good with time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills to articulate all design ideas.
• Licensing experience is preferred but not required.
• Requires strong knowledge of color theory, layout, composition, and typography.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Drawing and sketching to communicate ideas is a plus!
