Required Skills & Experience
- Associate Degree or higher.
- Must be proficient in interpreting GD&T drawings, analyzing and interpreting blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, and the necessary measuring instruments.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of High QA.
- Ability to program the CMM using Calypso software and Vision Systems.
- Collect data from the CMM and report as necessary.
- Inspect, test, or measure manufactured or final-level products for conformance to all requirements and specifications. Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting the standards.
- Discuss inspection results with responsible parties and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Experience with precise measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, drop gages, etc.
- Write inspection reports detailing results, recommendations, and required repairs.
- Set controls, start, and monitor machines that automatically measure, sort, or inspect products.
- Ability to multi-task with limited supervision and handle frequent interruptions.
- Good communication skills for interfacing with other departments and individuals.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, statistical processes, and KAIZEN.

Insight Global is seeking a CMM Programmer to join a space and aerospace manufacturing company in St. Geroge, Utah to Conduct and validate visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections for first article, in-process, and test operations using company or customer-provided specifications on a CMM machine. Examine and test raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments and sophisticated test equipment during the inspection process.
Pay ranges from $55,000 - $85,000 and is solely based on experience and position fit.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
