About the Role

A rapidly growing Texas-based real estate developer is searching for an experienced Vertical Construction Project Leader to join their internal building division. This firm has delivered large-scale, mixed-use developments valued at over $200M, including landmark community spaces and high-rise towers that define modern skylines.

This Project Manager role will oversee active and upcoming projects in the $120M–$130M range, with full project lifecycle responsibility—from preconstruction planning to final turnover. The firm offers a unique chance to make a lasting mark with a lean, entrepreneurial team working on high-profile developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring they stay on time, on budget, and aligned with quality goals.
• Oversee planning, resource allocation, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Partner closely with superintendents, accounting, and executive leadership to ensure transparency and efficiency.
• Mentor APMs and Engineers while promoting a high-performance, collaborative jobsite culture.
• Implement site logistics and construction sequencing plans tailored to vertical builds and urban environments.
• Serve as the primary contact for consultants, city officials, and project stakeholders throughout all phases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing large-scale commercial projects, including high-rise or multi-use developments.
• Strong background in leading jobs valued at $100M or more.
• Experience working in small, integrated teams with direct exposure to executive leadership.
• Effective communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, P6, Bluebeam).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
