Job Description

We are looking to bring on a new Class A Driver to our client’s team in Fife, WA! This position will have you operating a tractor-trailer making deliveries for the Pacific Northwest region. This position will have you operating out of Fife, WA, and delivering perishable goods in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana. Please note that when it comes to overnights, for the most part, you will only be doing 1-2 nights a week at most. This is a Direct Hire position.

Compensation:

• Base wage: $31/hr with an annual increase every January
• Monthly Bonus
• Safety Bonus

Schedule: Monday - Friday, some evenings and weekends as needed

Location: Fife, WA

Responsibilities:

• Operating a tractor-trailer hauling trailers with lengths ranging between 40 - 53 ft long
• Monitor and fuel refrigerated units on reefer trailers when used
• Maintain all required DOT logs and other paperwork as required
• Assist with unloading and the check-in process when making deliveries. This involves participation in the counting process and case handling
• This position involves touch freight and drop and hook

Requirements:

• Have a valid Class A CDL
• Have at least 2 years of OTR driving experience or at least 3 years of local delivery experience with a tractor-trailer
• Be able to handle up to 50 lbs
• Be able to pass an MVR review
• Be able to pass a DOT UA and a federal background check
