Full-Time Hourly Position ranging from $5.00-$8.00 DOE + tips plus benefits. Located in Santa Fe, NM. Working out of our Eldorado Hotel & Spa.

Located at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa, Popé Restaurant and the adjacent Agave Lounge bring together refined Southwestern cuisine, elevated service, and a spirit of genuine hospitality. Guests and locals alike are welcomed into a vibrant setting to enjoy bold flavors, expertly crafted cocktails, and unforgettable dining experiences rooted in tradition and quality.

Essential Duties:

Be comfortable speaking on and selling New Mexican wines and spirits specific to the area.
Communicate daily with hotel/restaurant/kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests.
Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring a smooth and friendly start to their dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness of all bar and lounge areas, including ice bins, shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns.
Uphold company drink & food safety, food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.

Requirements:

Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 10+ pounds frequently.
Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
